  Harriet's surname is spelt "Elingham" on her daughter Harriet's marriage entry. Harriet is noted on the Index of the First Women Electors in New Zealand (1893) produced by the St John's Branch of the NZ Society of Genealogists for Women's Suffrage Year 1993. The Silverdale School Jubilee Book notes: "Brunton, Harriet, Wade, Domestic Duties". The Wainui Historical Society Index to Archives at Silverdale Pioneer Village Museum notes: "Brunton, Harriet, m.
