P. Hore Synnott Pedigree (1913), page 25:
Thos of "Ballicurran"[1], had livery 1549. Collector of the Subsidy. in the Barony of Forth, & granted time, 1551. Died 19 Sept 1574.[3]

According to M.E. Sinnott's book "Annals..." (1905), Thomas Synnot of Ballyarran had livery 12 Nov 1549.
