'Mark of Drumcondragh = 28 Feb. 1777, Susanna dau of James Nugent of Carpenterstown.'

According to Analecta Hibernica No. 20 (1958), page 208, Mark Synnott and Richard Reynolds were appointed trustees in the will of John Nugent of Queen St, Dublin. The will was proved on 12 Nov. 1776. John directed that he should not be waked, "a foolish & absurd custom'.

Mark Synnot Esq. of Drumcondragh, co. Meath was Sheriff of County Wexford. His will, dated 4 Mar 1789, was proved on 20 March 1789. He married his first cousin Susanna Nugent - they were both grandchildren of Walter Nugent of Carpenterstown.
