    • Cornwell Haddock told Rex Sinott in 1996 that he remembered his Uncle Ted (Edwin) not getting on with his (Cornwell's) Uncle Ernie - on his mother's side. Ernie worked in shipping, and pointed out Ted (in hushed tones!) to Cornwell on one of Ted's visits in his job as a salesman.
